A shirt-style collar sits open at the neck, which is what separates this from a plain round-neck cardigan and lets it work as a top on its own. Three large buttons run down the front, spaced wide so it fastens without pulling. Sleeves are cut long and finish in a deep rib at the cuff, with the same rib closing the hem at the hip. The surface is soft and lightly brushed, and it holds its shape rather than dropping.
